COMS374 Alphabets (Fall 2012)

by Matt on November 12, 2012

A favourite assignment in COMS374 Intermedia II is to create a new way of looking at the alphabet. The results are often intriguing or entertaining, and this year is no exception. The alphabet, above, was created by cutting stencil letters out of twenty-six paperback books. (Each letter corresponds with the first letter of the last name of the author.) The alphabet will soon be on temporary display at Concordia’s Vanier library. (Team: Mackenzie Messenger,  Thomas Seguin,  Elisa Koll-Egyed,  Annie Croll, and  Gabriel Omassi.)
